Is Yellowstone winter wolf-bison predation (Lamar Valley) happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

On Yellowstone National Park's northern range, wolf packs (Canis lupus) and American bison (Bison bison) interact year-round but most predation and carcass-scavenging involving bison occurs in late winter.

Deep snow, poor bison body condition, and reduced elk availability drive wolves to attempt riskier bison hunts or to scavenge bison carcasses in Lamar Valley.
