As of today, out of season, returns ~March. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each spring, riparian and semi-natural woodlands in the Wye Valley produce broad carpets of wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa).
The display lasts several weeks and is concentrated in shady riverine woods and old coppice, providing striking white carpets before the tree canopy fully leafs out.
