As of today, out of season, returns ~July. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each winter and spring the Southwest Australia biodiversity hotspot erupts in mass flowering.
A broad assemblage of species (banksias, verticordias, kangaroo paws, everlastings and many more) produce large-scale, colorful displays across coastal heaths, inland plains and granite outcrops, attracting botanists and photographers from July through October.
