Is Trolltunga (Troll's Tongue) Seasonal Access happening right now?

As of today, in season, building toward peak (~July 1). Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Trolltunga is a narrow tongue of gneiss rock projecting roughly 700 metres horizontally from the mountainside above Lake Ringedalsvatnet in Ullensvang municipality, Vestland county, Norway.

Formed during the last ice age when glacial water froze inside cracks and broke away surrounding rock, the outcrop sits at approximately 1,180 metres elevation and offers an unobstructed view straight down to the turquoise lake below.

The hiking trail from Skjeggedal is a demanding 27 km round trip with 800 m of elevation gain, typically requiring 10-12 hours.

The trail is only open for unguided hiking from June 1 through September 30; outside this window, the route is snow-covered and requires a certified guide.
