Is Table Mountain Tablecloth Cloud happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~October. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

The Table Mountain "tablecloth" is an orographic cloud layer that forms on and spills over the flat summit of Table Mountain, Cape Town.

Moist onshore air is forced up the mountain by southeasterly winds, cools, and condenses into a sheet of stratocumulus that can cascade down the cliffs or lie stalled over the plateau.

The phenomenon is highly visual and weather dependent, prized by photographers and locals alike.
