Is Staircase to the Moon (Broome) happening right now?

As of today, peak season now, through ~August 31. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

The Staircase to the Moon is an optical effect where the rising full moon reflects off the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay near Broome, Western Australia, creating the appearance of a bright stepped path to the moon.

The event occurs on nights when moonrise coincides with an exceptionally low tide and clear skies, producing dramatic vertical reflections along the wet sand and shallow pools.
