Is South Luangwa Carmine Bee-eater Nesting Cliffs happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~September. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Each breeding season, Carmine Bee-eaters form dense colonies that excavate nest tunnels in the Luangwa River cliffs inside South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.

The sites host hundreds to thousands of birds and provide excellent, close-up viewing from vehicles and river bank vantage points during the breeding months.
