Is Skagit Valley Snow Goose Blastoff happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Each winter the Skagit River Delta and adjacent farms host very large concentrations of snow geese.

When disturbed or when departing roosts at dawn and returning at dusk, flocks lift in dramatic mass flights called blastoffs, producing thunderous wingbeats and swirling clouds of white that can number in the tens to hundreds of thousands.
