As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each winter the Skagit River corridor and Skagit Delta host an unusually large concentration of Haliaeetus leucocephalus (bald eagles).
Birds gather to feed on salmon, waterfowl and carrion in river pools, tidal flats and agricultural fields, creating reliable daytime viewing from late fall through early spring.
