As of today, out of season, returns ~October. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
The Northern Taurids are an annual meteor stream associated with comet 2P/Encke and a complex of debris that produces slow meteors and occasional bright fireballs.
The stream is active for weeks each autumn and can produce enhanced fireball rates in certain years when Earth crosses a dense swarm of larger particles.
