Is Ningaloo Humpback Whale Coastal Season happening right now?

Each austral winter and spring, humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) migrate north past the Ningaloo Coast to breed and calve, then return south with calves.
Many animals travel within a few hundred metres of shore, making Exmouth, Vlamingh Head and nearby beaches reliable viewing areas.
