Is Moray Firth Bottlenose Dolphin Season happening right now?

As of today, peak season now, through ~September 30. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

A resident community of common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) occupies the Moray Firth year-round, with higher sighting rates from mid-May through late September.

Dolphins are often seen from shore at headlands and from licensed boat trips operating out of Cromarty, Inverness area, and Moray towns.
