Is Misool Coral Mass Spawning happening right now?

Every year the reefs around Misool in southern Raja Ampat host synchronized broadcast spawning by many scleractinian coral species.
The event is driven by lunar phase and sea temperature, producing visible clouds of gametes and surface slicks that can be observed from night dives, snorkel trips, or boat decks.
