Is Mammatus clouds (post-severe-storm mamma) happening right now?

As of today, peak season now, through ~June 30. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Mammatus (mamma) are pouch-shaped lobes that protrude from the underside of a cloud, most commonly the anvil of a cumulonimbus.

They form when colder, denser cloud material descends into drier air beneath the cloud base.

Mammatus are visually striking, often form in association with severe convective storms, and are short-lived, dependent on the storm lifecycle.
