Is Khao Yai hornbill nesting season happening right now?

As of today, past peak, season runs to ~June 30. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Khao Yai National Park hosts several cavity-nesting hornbill species that breed each year.

Large species (Great and Wreathed Hornbills) begin breeding in January and complete nesting by late spring, while smaller species (Oriental Pied and Austen's Brown) nest slightly later.

Nesting involves females sealing themselves in tree cavities and males provisioning the nest.
