Is Kelimutu Tri-Color Crater Lakes happening right now?

As of today, out of season. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Mount Kelimutu (Gunung Kelimutu) hosts three adjacent summit crater lakes whose surface colors change over months to years.

Color shifts are driven by hydrothermal circulation, subaqueous fumaroles and oxidation-reduction chemistry influenced by volcanic gases, rainfall and seasonal mixing.

The site is a protected national park and a popular sunrise viewpoint.
