As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
During the dry season Kaziranga’s floodplain grasslands concentrate Greater One-horned Rhinos (Rhinoceros unicornis) into open meadows and river-edge wetlands, producing very high sighting probabilities on guided safaris.
The pattern is driven by monsoon flooding and grass growth, so viewing opportunities are seasonal and range-dependent.
