Each spring the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar (Asia's largest tulip garden) opens for a month of tulip displays.
Planted in phased beds to extend the display, the garden brings together dozens of Tulipa varieties (garden tulips) for a short, showy bloom window that attracts large domestic and international crowds.
