As of today, in season now, through ~June 30. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
The Jindo Sea Parting (Sinbi-ui Badatgil) is a tidal phenomenon where extreme low tides expose a 2.0–2.9 km corridor of seabed between Hoedong-ri (Gogun-myeon) on Jindo and Modo-ri, allowing people to walk across the exposed sea floor for a short period.
The event is tied to spring tides and lunar cycles and is celebrated with an annual spring festival timed to predicted low-tide windows.
