Is Jerte Valley Cherry Blossom Carpet happening right now?
As of today, out of season, returns ~March. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each spring the Valle del Jerte in Cáceres, Extremadura, transforms as thousands of cherry trees flower, creating continuous carpets of blossom across orchards, terraces, and village streets.
The display is driven by altitude and temperature, producing a multi-week season with the main spectacle in early April.
