Is Islay Wintering Geese (Loch Gruinart) happening right now?

Each autumn large numbers of barnacle geese (Branta leucopsis) migrate to Islay and spend the winter feeding on coastal grasslands and roosting on Loch Gruinart.
The concentration at the RSPB reserve and adjacent flats provides reliable, large-scale goose gatherings and dramatic dawn and dusk flight displays.
