Is Hawk Mountain Autumn Raptor Migration happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~August. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Each autumn Hawk Mountain Sanctuary records a concentrated southbound migration of diurnal raptors (hawks, eagles, falcons, vultures) as birds funnel along the Appalachian ridgeline.

The sanctuary operates the world’s longest continuous raptor count and posts daily tallies during the season.
