The Goseong (Deokmyeong-ri / Sangjogam) fossil area preserves thousands of Cretaceous dinosaur and bird footprint fossils in situ along the intertidal bedrock.
Footprints and trackways from ornithopods, sauropods and theropods, plus several bird ichnotaxa, are visible on the shoreline and interpreted from the Jindong Formation.
