Is Frost quake (cryoseism) happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

A cryoseism, commonly called a frost quake or ice quake, is a shallow, non-tectonic seismic event produced when water-saturated soil, rock, or surface ice freezes rapidly and fractures.

The result can be loud explosive booms and highly localized shaking that may be mistaken for an earthquake.

Events are weather-driven and typically occur during rapid cold snaps in winter.
