Is Farallon Islands Great White Shark Aggregation happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~July. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Each year subadult and adult great white sharks concentrate around the Farallon Islands off central California to hunt pinnipeds and forage.

The aggregation is seasonal and predictable enough that licensed research vessels and commercial charters run regular trips during the late-summer and fall peak.
