Is Everglades alligator courtship bellowing happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~March. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

During spring in the Everglades, male American alligators (Alligator mississippiensis) produce deep bellows and join in group choruses as part of courtship and territorial display.

These displays, sometimes felt as infrasound and seen as water-sprinkling 'water dances', are most common in the spring months and peak in April-May.
