As of today, out of season, returns ~November. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Dugongs (Dugong dugon) are large, strictly marine herbivores that graze seagrass meadows.
The Libong Archipelago and adjacent Hat Chao Mai coastal area in Trang Province contain some of Thailand's last extensive seagrass beds and are the country’s primary dugong feeding grounds.
Sightings depend on seagrass condition, tides, and weather.
