Each spring and summer the montane and alpine belts of the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg produce broad and locally spectacular wildflower displays.
Flowering is strongly elevation and rainfall dependent, with foothill displays earlier and summit/alpine species flowering later into mid-summer.
