Each year, from July to December, Darwin Island in the Galápagos Marine Reserve becomes a hotspot for whale shark (Rhincodon typus) aggregations.

These gentle giants are drawn to the cooler waters and abundant food sources during this period, offering divers a unique opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat.
