As of today, out of season, returns ~April. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each spring, the high meadows of Hala Chochołowska in the Chochołowska Valley (Tatra National Park, Poland) become covered in dense blooms of spring crocus, creating large purple carpets visible from trails and viewpoints.
Flowering follows snowmelt and can shift year-to-year, but the display is reliably spectacular for a 2-4 week window in spring.
