The Guianan Cock-of-the-rock (Rupicola rupicola) congregates in display arenas, or leks, where multiple males perform conspicuous courtship displays to attract visiting females.
The Central Suriname Nature Reserve contains the largest known lek for this species and is one of the best places to observe lekking behavior in the Guianas.
