Is Cape fur seal pup mega-colony (Namibia) happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~October. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Each austral summer large rookeries of Cape fur seals (Arctocephalus pusillus pusillus) gather along Namibia's coast to breed and raise pups.

The biggest and most accessible colony is at Cape Cross, where breeding males establish territories and tens of thousands of pups are born during a concentrated seasonal window.
