As of today, out of season, returns ~December. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Each austral summer and autumn, transient killer whales (Orcinus orca) are regularly observed offshore of Bremer Bay, Western Australia.
These orcas concentrate where migratory baleen whales and abundant prey pass the productive Bremer Canyon, producing reliable boat-based viewing opportunities from mid-December through April.
