Is Azraq Wetland Crane Stopover happening right now?

As of today, out of season, returns ~October. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.

Azraq Wetland Reserve in eastern Jordan is a key stopover and temporary roosting site on the Africa-Europe flyway.

During the cool migration months cranes (primarily Common Crane, Grus grus, with occasional Demoiselle Crane) gather to feed and rest on flooded mudflats, reedbeds and seasonal pools created/maintained by RSCN restoration efforts.
