As of today, out of season, returns ~February. Earth Exhibit tracks the live conditions and flags it the moment it is on.
Augrabies Falls is the dramatic drop of the Orange River into an 18 km granite gorge inside Augrabies Falls National Park, Northern Cape, South Africa.
The falls are most spectacular during the late-summer rainy season when upstream rains and controlled dam releases can push the river from a base flow of tens of cumecs to thousands of cumecs, producing the highest and noisiest flows of the year.
